เกิดที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ในปี 1975 จบการศึกษาจากวิทยาลัยช่างศิลป์ กรุงเทพฯ และระดับปริญญาตรีจากคณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ปัจจุบัน อาศัยอยู่ที่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และ เปิดสตูดิโอ แกลอรี่ ผลงาน ของสะสมของตนเองร่วมกับเพื่อน ชื่อร้านว่า EVERY THING’S GONNA B ALL LUCK เชียงใหม่
ลักษณ์ ใหม่สาลี เป็นศิลปิน ที่สร้างสรรค์ผลงานโดยมักจะหยิบจับวัสดุเก่า ในรูปแบบต่างๆ นามาทาเป็นผลงานศิลปะ หยิบยกตัวละคร ตัวการ์ตูน ที่เป็นที่รู้จัก นามาตีแผ่เรื่องราวได้อย่างยียวน เสียดสี ตลกร้าย ผ่านการเล่าเรื่องราวของศิลปินเอง ผลงานของลักษณ์ ใหม่สาลี ไม่ได้มีเพียงเนื้อหารการเล่าเรื่องราวที่น่าสนใจนั้น เขาเป็นศิลปินที่มีทักษะการวาด การทางานผ่านวัสดุ ได้อย่างประณีต มีความร่วมสมัย จึงทาให้ผลงานของเขาทุกชิ้น มีความสมบูรณ์ ทั้งเนื้อหาที่สอดคล้องกับวัสดุที่เขาเลือกใช้
Artist’s Biography
Luck Maisalee
He was born in Bangkok in 1975. Graduated from Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts Chiang Mai University. Now he lives in Chiang Mai and owns a studio and shop with a friend “ EVERY THING’S GONNA B ALL LUCK” Chiangmai
Luck Maisalee is an artist who creates works by picking up old materials. made to make works of art. Pick up characters, cartoon characters that are known to unfold stories, satire, bad comedy through the communication of the artist.
Luck Maisalee’s work is not just about telling interesting stories. He is a skilled artist. Working through interesting materials, refined, detailed, contemporary. Therefore, every piece of his work complete both the content that corresponds to the material that he chooses
