คุณสุธี เอื้อศิริพรฤทธิ์

จบการศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และเคยเป็นอาจารย์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ร่วม 10 ปี

ปัจจุบันเป็นศิลปินทำงานอยู่ที่ จังหวัดลำพูน

หลักการทำงานศิลปะที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของคุณสุธี เอื้อศิริพรฤทธิ์ คือ การเน้นให้เข้าถึง “แก่นแท้” ของงานแต่ละชิ้นให้มากที่สุด ดังจะเห็นได้ในผลงานของคุณสุธีผ่านการทำงานศิลปะบนรูปทรงเลขาคณิต โดยเริ่มจากการแบ่งรูปสี่เหลี่ยมรูปหนึ่งให้ได้มากที่สุดเท่าที่จะมากได้ และเมื่อทำการแบ่งไปเรื่อยๆ ได้พบว่ารูปสี่เหลี่ยมนั้นสามารถแบ่งได้อย่างไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด จากนั้นคุณสุธีก็เริ่มทำกระบวนการเช่นเดียวกันนี้กับรูปสามเหลี่ยม และรูปวงกลม จนกระทั่งได้ค้นพบแก่นแท้ของปรัชญาการทำงานของศลิปะของตนเองผ่านการใช้เส้นตรงในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน คุณสุธีกล่าวถึงความพิเศษของเส้นตรงว่า เส้นตรงที่มีขนาดและความยาวเท่ากันหากวาง STRAIGHT ในแนวระนาบและแนวตั้งก็จะเห็นว่ายาวเท่ากัน แต่หากนามาวางในแนวเฉียงก็จะยาวและแคบลง การวางเส้นตรงในหลายทิศทางนั้นจึงทำให้เกิดระยะห่าง และช่องไฟที่ต่างกัน ทำให้เกิดเป็นมิติต่างๆ จึงได้นำคุณสมบัติของเส้นตรงนี้มา รังสรรค์เป็นผลงานศิลปะของตนเองโดยการเชื่อมต่อเส้นตรงให้เกิดมิติต่างๆ ในแนวระนาบการทำงานผ่านการใช้เส้นตรงนี้เองทำให้สุธีเข้าใจ ค้นพบและเข้าใจในสัจธรรมและปรัชญาในการทำงานศิลปะของตนเองว่า เขาไม่ได้ใส่ความเป็นตัวตนของเขาเข้าไปในผลงานศิลปะ เพราะโดยสัจธรรมแล้วเส้นตรงก็คือเส้นตรงเขาเพียงแต่เป็นผู้หยิบยกเอาธรรมชาติและความจริงของเส้นตรงมาเปิดเผยให้ได้เห็นในผลงานศิลปะของเขา อันเป็นที่มาของผลงานชุดนี้ที่คุณสุธีได้ถ่ายทอดผ่านกระบวนการภาพพิมพ์และงานวาดบนผืนผ้าใบที่นามาจัดแสดงที่ JOJO KOBE FINEART GALLERY ในครั้งนี้

Sutee Eursiriphornrit

Born : Nakhornsithammarat, Thailand 1970, Live and work,Lamphun Thailand.

Education and Professional Experience :1996 -2001 Guest Instructors (Printmaking) Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University.

1995 B.F.A. (Printmaking) Faculty of Fine Arts,Chiang Mai University.

The working concept of Sutee Eursiriphomrit is to find a core value of each of his artwork. Observing from the previous works that he tried to divide geometric figures, started from a square, into pieces as much as possible.He, however, found out that a number of divided figures are beyond infinity. He then applied the same process for triangle and circle until he discovered his philosophy of work while working on straight lines. Sutee mentioned about a specialty of a straight line which has the same scale and length that whether drawing it on the horizontal or on the vertical, it looks the same. While moving the same scale and length of that straight line to different directions, it looks longer and narrower. Sutee bring that qualification of a straight line to design his working techniques by connecting straight lines on the horizontal which leads to visual illusion on the frame. Sutee discovered the truth and the philosophy of work through working on the straight lines. He is aware that he did not put any of “self” of him to create his artwork but connected the truth of a straight line which is a straight line on his work only. He then presented the truth of those lines in different

angles to his audiences. These silk-screen and painting collection as a result of his work, will be

shown at JOJO KOBE FINE ARTGALLERY this time.
